After a week away, I'm finally back in San Diego. The sun is shining and the ocean is roaring. Although the city is the same, I can feel the change about to happen. In a way today marks a sunset on another chapter in my life. It marks the end of a nomadic free spirited traveler and the start of some roots penetrating into the sandy San Diego soil. Monday I start work at Kelly Scientific, sign a lease on an apartment, and join a climbing gym. The sun is setting but it's also about to rise again on a new day. A new lifestyle. All I can do is take each day as it comes. I can't wait to see what this new chapter holds in store.
The Peregrine Project
The peregrine falcon was the inspiration for this project and blog. On top of being one of the most formidable birds of prey, it was also a migrant. Peregrine means alien, traveler or passer-by. I want to provide content from the perspective of a traveler or migrant. After all, our lives are but a vapor in the wind. We are here today and gone tomorrow. All we have is this moment.
