Today marks 7 days in Cardiff, CA. I have had one major take away from this city to date. People hardly work here. On any given weekday, you see the streets and restaurants packed with bikers, joggers a surfers. Surfers are out all hours of the day carving away at the beautiful ocean seascape. It appears everyone is on constant vacation. Life is relaxed a chill. It doesn't have the stress or rush of the big cities. The coffee shops are full of sandy surfers in tank tops and well dress couples. It almost seems to good to be true... still trying to grasp the gravity of this city...
The Peregrine Project
The peregrine falcon was the inspiration for this project and blog. On top of being one of the most formidable birds of prey, it was also a migrant. Peregrine means alien, traveler or passer-by. I want to provide content from the perspective of a traveler or migrant. After all, our lives are but a vapor in the wind. We are here today and gone tomorrow. All we have is this moment.
