Today marks the first day living as a nomad. Last night was spent reading in the RV hearing the waves crash rhythmically against the shore with the occasional barking of seals. Taking a step back from the clamber of life is refreshing. Life should be simple. Life should be focused. Take a moment today a enjoy exactly where you are. Don't think about what needs to be done or where to go next. Live in the moment. The photo of the day is from my trip to the wharf in downtown San Diego. The figurehead on a boat always has amazed me. So much detail put into something strictly for morale and pride. To me this is simply a lesson we all should take to heart. If our lives are a vessel, what is our figurehead? That's all that matters. The little details are irrelevant. Figure out how you are first. The details will come.
The Peregrine Project
The peregrine falcon was the inspiration for this project and blog. On top of being one of the most formidable birds of prey, it was also a migrant. Peregrine means alien, traveler or passer-by. I want to provide content from the perspective of a traveler or migrant. After all, our lives are but a vapor in the wind. We are here today and gone tomorrow. All we have is this moment.
